The Principal's Blog
As you are aware every RHSC pupil is issued with three reports a year. Parents also have the opportunity to discuss their son / daughter's progress at an annual Parents' Evening.
We want to provide more opportunities for parents to raise any issues or ask any questions. For this reason, for a trial period, we will be arranging a number of 'drop-in' sessions. These will allow parents to have informal discussions about any matter with senior members of staff and are designed for parents of students in any year group.
The meetings will take place between 5:00pm and 7:00pm. The first of these drop-in sessions will be on Thursday, 20 June in the Sixth Form foyer. We hope this proves useful and look forward to seeing you there should you wish to join us.
If you have any questions or require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact your child's Head of Year or Head of Key Stage.

A big welcome to the staff and pupils from our Spanish partner school, IES Maria Moliner. We have had exchanges with this school in the beautiful city of Segovia for many years now and we always look forward to hosting our guests. Trips to the coast, Cambridge and London will be the highlights of the visit. |

On the 20th of June we will be holding our annual Summer Music Concert. This year's event will be particularly special for two reasons. Firstly, our concert is part of the highly prestigious regional celebrations of Benjamin Britten's life, on the 100th anniversary of his birth.
Secondly, this will be the final concert for our Head of Music, Mr Parker. Mr Parker retires this summer after many years of wonderful service to RHSC.
Tickets will be available very soon and we hope you will be able to join us and enjoy a fantastic evening of music, from Britten to the Beatles. |

Fifty children from across Norfolk are being given the chance to train and perform with stars of the West End in a special five day workshop thats coming back to Norwich this October half term.
Between the 28th October and 1st November, fifty lucky children aged between 8 and 19 will work on a different West End show each day, with a star from that show, as well as West End professional choreographers, Musical Directors and actors, at the OPEN Youth Venue in Norwich. At the end of the week, the students will perform everything they've learnt in a two hour showcase concert, WITH the professionals, in front of an audience of five hundred people. No previous experience is required, just a willingness to learn.
